Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C19orf48 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C19orf48 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher C19orf48 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C19orf48 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and THYM show a favorable association.
LIHC, KIRP, and LUAD are the cancer types where C19orf48 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
