Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C19orf12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C19orf12 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher C19orf12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C19orf12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where C19orf12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
