C18orf21

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, C18orf21 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 516 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible C18orf21-associated genes across cancer lineages are GCATP1, CASTOR2, and TUBGCP5. Each is linked with C18orf21 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both C18orf21-to-partner and partner-to-C18orf21 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, GCATP1 grouped by C18orf21-low versus C18orf21-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (C18orf21→partner) and Y-score (partner→C18orf21) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
