Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C17orf100 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C17orf100 data layer compared with 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher C17orf100 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C17orf100 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and LGG show a favorable association.
UVM, ACC, and LGG are the cancer types where C17orf100 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
