Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C17orf100 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C17orf100 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher C17orf100 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C17orf100 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LSCC show a favorable association.

PDAC, UCEC, and LSCC are the cancer types where C17orf100 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
