Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C16orf91 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C16orf91 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher C16orf91 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C16orf91 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, BRCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where C16orf91 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
