The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher C16orf54 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C16orf54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LUAD show a favorable association.
GBM, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where C16orf54 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
