Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C15orf39 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C15orf39 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher C15orf39 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C15orf39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
THYM, UCEC, and READ are the cancer types where C15orf39 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
