Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C14orf93 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C14orf93 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher C14orf93 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C14orf93 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where C14orf93 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
