Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C14orf39 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C14orf39 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher C14orf39 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C14orf39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, READ, and LGG are the cancer types where C14orf39 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
