Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C14orf177 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated C14orf177 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher C14orf177 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C14orf177 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SARC and KIRP show a favorable association.

THCA, KICH, and BLCA are the cancer types where C14orf177 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
