Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C12orf66 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C12orf66 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher C12orf66 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C12orf66 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, GBM, and LSCC are the cancer types where C12orf66 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
