Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, C12orf43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated C12orf43 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher C12orf43 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated C12orf43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and CHOL are the cancer types where C12orf43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
