Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BZW1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BZW1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BZW1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BZW1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, LGG, and BLCA are the cancer types where BZW1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
