Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTN3A3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BTN3A3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher BTN3A3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTN3A3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and THCA are the cancer types where BTN3A3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
