Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTG3-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BTG3-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BTG3-AS1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTG3-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, MESO, and ACC are the cancer types where BTG3-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
