Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTF3P11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of BTF3P11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where BTF3P11 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types BTF3P11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, KIRC, and STAD are the cancer types where BTF3P11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
