Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTBD9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BTBD9 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher BTBD9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTBD9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
OV, DLBC, and STAD are the cancer types where BTBD9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
