Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTBD9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BTBD9 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BTBD9 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTBD9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and OV are the cancer types where BTBD9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
