Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BTBD6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BTBD6 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher BTBD6 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BTBD6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and KIRC show a favorable association.
UVM, ACC, and PAAD are the cancer types where BTBD6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
