Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BST1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BST1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BST1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BST1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where BST1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
