Across TCGA patient cohorts, BST1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,910 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BST1-associated genes across cancer lineages are CSF3R, LILRB2, and ITGAX. Each is linked with BST1 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BST1-to-partner and partner-to-BST1 results are reported.
