Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BSPRY Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BSPRY data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher BSPRY Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BSPRY expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THCA, SCLC, and UCEC are the cancer types where BSPRY Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
