Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BSPH1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BSPH1 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher BSPH1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BSPH1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, UVM, and READ are the cancer types where BSPH1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
