Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BSND Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BSND data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher BSND Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BSND expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC and LUSC are the cancer types where BSND Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
