Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BSN-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BSN-DT data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher BSN-DT RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BSN-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, COAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where BSN-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
