Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BRINP2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BRINP2 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher BRINP2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BRINP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and PAAD show a favorable association.
MESO, PAAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where BRINP2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
