Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BRD9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BRD9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BRD9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BRD9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where BRD9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
