Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BRD7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BRD7 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher BRD7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BRD7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
MESO, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where BRD7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
