Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BRD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BRD2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BRD2 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BRD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, PRAD, and STAD are the cancer types where BRD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
