Across TCGA patient cohorts, BRD2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,845 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BRD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are CEP152, OIP5, and RAD51AP1. Each is linked with BRD2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BRD2-to-partner and partner-to-BRD2 results are reported.
