Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BRCC3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BRCC3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher BRCC3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BRCC3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, SKCM, and LAML are the cancer types where BRCC3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
