BRCA1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, BRCA1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 162 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BRCA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SHCBP1L, DCDC2C, and SLC17A2. Each is linked with BRCA1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BRCA1-to-partner and partner-to-BRCA1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, SHCBP1L grouped by BRCA1-low versus BRCA1-high in URINARY_TRACT.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BRCA1→partner) and Y-score (partner→BRCA1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
