Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BPIFB2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BPIFB2 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher BPIFB2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BPIFB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, LGG, and SARC are the cancer types where BPIFB2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
