BORCS8-MEF2B

RNA & survival
SurvivalRNAKaplan–Meier · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BORCS8-MEF2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BORCS8-MEF2B data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher BORCS8-MEF2B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BORCS8-MEF2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and GBM show a favorable association.

KICH, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where BORCS8-MEF2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

RNA survival associations by lineage

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
