Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BOLA3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BOLA3 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BOLA3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BOLA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where BOLA3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
