Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BOD1L2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BOD1L2 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher BOD1L2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BOD1L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, KICH, and THYM are the cancer types where BOD1L2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
