Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BNIPL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BNIPL data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher BNIPL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BNIPL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP and PRAD are the cancer types where BNIPL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
