Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BNIP3P26 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BNIP3P26 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher BNIP3P26 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BNIP3P26 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LAML show a favorable association.

LUAD, LAML, and ACC are the cancer types where BNIP3P26 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
