Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BNIP3P25 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BNIP3P25 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher BNIP3P25 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BNIP3P25 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and KICH show a favorable association.

READ, LUAD, and KICH are the cancer types where BNIP3P25 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
