Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BMT2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BMT2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BMT2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BMT2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC are the cancer types where BMT2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
