Across TCGA patient cohorts, BMT2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,235 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BMT2-associated genes across cancer lineages are AURKB, LONP1, and CFI. Each is linked with BMT2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BMT2-to-partner and partner-to-BMT2 results are reported.
