Across TCGA patient cohorts, BMPR2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,505 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BMPR2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RPL23AP18, SEMA3G, and PTPRB. Each is linked with BMPR2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BMPR2-to-partner and partner-to-BMPR2 results are reported.
