Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BMPR1AP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BMPR1AP1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher BMPR1AP1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BMPR1AP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LGG show a favorable association.

BLCA, UVM, and UCS are the cancer types where BMPR1AP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
