Across TCGA patient cohorts, BMP5 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 14,029 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BMP5-associated proteins across cancer lineages are PARVA, DDAH1, and DPYSL2. Each is linked with BMP5 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BMP5-to-partner and partner-to-BMP5 results are reported.
