Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA cell cohorts, BMP5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible BMP5-associated genes across cancer lineages are DEFB124, PRAMEF9, and CST8. Each is linked with BMP5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BMP5-to-partner and partner-to-BMP5 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, DEFB124 grouped by BMP5-low versus BMP5-high in LUNG_NSCLC_LUSC.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BMP5→partner) and Y-score (partner→BMP5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
