Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BMP2KL RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated BMP2KL data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher BMP2KL RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BMP2KL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and BRCA show a favorable association.

BLCA, CHOL, and UVM are the cancer types where BMP2KL RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
