Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BMP15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BMP15 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher BMP15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BMP15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

CHOL, DLBC, and CESC are the cancer types where BMP15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
