Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLOC1S6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BLOC1S6 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher BLOC1S6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLOC1S6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
MESO, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where BLOC1S6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
