Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, BLOC1S2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated BLOC1S2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher BLOC1S2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated BLOC1S2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where BLOC1S2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
